Adopt A Pet
Do you have an animal you need to Adopt Out?
Louisa rescue groups do not take animals from the general public, but are happy to
give you pointers on how to:
• keep your pet if at all possible
• find a good home for your pet, if absolutely necessary
The Louisa Animal Shelter does accept surrendered animals, but since they do not turn
any animals away, they are sometimes forced to euthanize animals to make room. So please,
remember, the best "No-Kill" shelter is a "No-Kill" community.
Contact us if you need advice on how to re-home your pet.
